30-Day Blog Love Affair:: Day #16!

After the heaviness of yesterday’s news, I’m going to keep today’s post pretty and sweet by sharing a few photos I took today on my annual trip to visit the blooming magnolia trees in Hoyt Arboretum.  There is a very special window of time when the entire grove of magnolia trees is exploding with pink, yellow and white petals.

And, that time is now.

  1. Beautiful pinks, I have one of these Magnolias in my garden, they are just the most beautiful trees! Your images today are so uplifting! I look forward to your daily blog!

  2. What jumped out at me was ” and that time is now” . Gorgeous blossoms and have to agree wholeheartedly that Now is definetly the time : )

  3. aaaah.
my husband planted a magnolia out near our mailbox… and it gave us a flower in the preceding few days.
I share your magnolia love…. they are so generous in their petal size, and I like that!!
i FELT the energy just now reading your earlier post on the NY’s collaboration… oh yummm.
*and hints of things to experience she wondered aloud*.

  4. Gorgeous images. Really brightens my day and inspires me to go out an take some beautiful pictures of nature.

  5. So pretty! Love the colors. I am now missing my parents’ magnolia tree that sits just outside my old bedroom window.

Also, these pics remind me that spring does exist, because it is currently snowing like mad outside (in Minnesota). :)
